01-03-2009Α goalless draw was the final result of the derby match between Panathinaikos and Olympiakos at Karaiskaki Stadium. The “Greens” were superior and despite the fact that they went down to ten men at 58′, when a harsh second yellow was shown on Sariegi, they fought for the three points until the final whistle.
The “Greens” created many chances but the closest one to score was the 70th minute direct free kick by Karagounis that hit the left post.
